REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT

A refundable security deposit of $300 per Gown will be collected together with the balance. The outstanding balance & security

deposit will be due at the final fitting or gown collection, within 1-2 weeks before the event date.

RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RENTER AGREES BY PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT HEREOF THAT HE/SHE HAS READ AND IS AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING TERMS

AND CONDITIONS CONCERNING THE USE OF THE GOWN AND ACCEPTS FULL RESPONSIBILITY HEREIN.

“Gown” – refers to any wedding or evening gown/gowns rented by the Renter.

“Agreement” – refers to the terms and conditions agreed between Renter and Company through the payment of deposit.

“Renter” – refers to him/her who is the receptor of this invoice whose name is given under “TO” on the invoice.

“Company” – refers to Kin Bridal LLP

Note: The Company "Kin Bridal LLP" is registered as a limited liability partnership

Renter expressly acknowledges that Renter and Company are the only parties to this Agreement, notwithstanding that a

reservation for the rental may have been arranged by a third party, that a third party may pay for all or part of the rental payments

due hereunder and/or that a third party may negotiate certain terms of this Agreement. Renter understands that Renter is solely

responsible for compliance with all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

• 1.3 Renter agrees to return the Gown to the Company in the same condition as received by Renter on the return date stated in this

Agreement, ordinary wear and tear excepted. No alterations may be performed on the Dress without prior permission from the

Company. Alteration of the gown may result in additional penalty fees.

2. USE OF DRESS:

2.1 Renter agrees not to use the Gown for other than its intended use as wedding/solemnisation or pre-wedding photography gown.

2.2 Renter agrees not to allow anyone other than the Renter to try on or wear the Gown.

2.3 Renter agrees to take the necessary due diligence to provide care of the Gown and that any form of liquids with alcoholic content

should not be made in contact with the Gown fabric (eg. Wine & Perfumes).

2.4 Renter shall keep any accessories of the Gown which may fall apart and return it along with the Gown.

3. PAYMENT:

3.1 Renter agrees to any and all rental charges as set forth in the invoice that forms part of this Agreement.

3.2 A 50% non-refundable and non-transferrable payment is required upon confirmation.

3.3 The other 50% payment will be collected during the final fitting of the gown. The payment made is non-refundable and non-

transferrable.

3.4 A security deposit of $300 per Gown will be collected together with the balance due during the final fitting session.

3.5 The security deposit will be refunded within a week (through internet banking) from date that Gown was returned. During the

week after Gown return, the Company will check that the Gown and items are returned in good condition without damages

beyond rectification. The Company reserves the rights to forfeit up to 100% of the security deposit should the damages to the

Gown be beyond repair.

3.6 The deductible cost of the items on loan are as indicated in Table 3.6.1. The list of items in Table 3.6.1 is non-exhaustive and

cost of items which are not listed shall be determined at the Company’s discretion.

1.2 Renter shall check the Gown and items within the same day upon gown delivery and to inform Company of any defects or

missing item within the same day. Thereafter, Renter shall be deemed to acknowledge that the Renter received the Gown and items in

good condition.

1. OWNERSHIP AND CONDITION OF GOWN:

1.1 Renter acknowledges that the Gown is the sole property of the Company.

3.7 The security deposit shall also be forfeited in the event of lost or stolen Gown in the possession of the Renter.

3.8 Payment mode can be made through cash or internet banking.

4 RENTAL MATTERS:

4.1 Each rental shall be for a period of up to 4 days, inclusive of the day of collection and return (e.g. Collection on Friday, to be

returned on Monday).

4.2 An additional charge of $50 per day will be imposed on late return.

4.3 Rental rates are inclusive of basic alteration to fit to size. Alterations such as addition of fabric, lace or beadings and change of

gown cutting are considered modifications. Modifications are subjected to additional charges and the Company reserves the right

to determine if the modifications are feasible to be done.

4.4 Each couple are entitled to a complimentary 2-hour first consultation. Subsequent consultation without purchase of gown

rental package shall be charged at $30 per hour of consultation session. The charge is refundable upon subsequent purchase of

gown rental.

4.5 Each rental package is entitled up to 2 complimentary single hour fitting sessions. The first fitting session will be between 3

weeks to a month before the event date for measurements taking. The final fitting will be within 1 to 2 weeks of the event date.

Additional alteration required after the 2 complimentary fitting sessions will be charged as incurred.

4.6 An additional complimentary single hour consultation (for every 1 to 2 gowns rented) may be provided for Renter if required.

The Company reserves the rights to impose an additional charge of $30 per additional single hour fitting session thereafter.

4.7 The Company reserves the rights to fix the delivery and return time within the given time period.

4.8 In the event that the Renter is unable to collect & return within the delivery time period, the Renter is required to make his/her

own collection and return arrangement within the rental period of 4 days. Clause 4.2 shall apply for failure to return the gown

within the rental period.

4.9 In the event of unforeseen circumstances where the Gown could not be delivered, the Company reserves the rights to replace

the Gown with another of equivalent value. Should the replacement Gown be unacceptable to the Renter, the Company will make

a full refund of the payment made. The Company shall not be held liable for any further compensation above the full refund value

of the payment made.

5. INDEMNIFICATION:

5.1 Renter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Company harmless from all losses, liabilities, damages, injuries, claims, demands,

costs, and expenses incurred in any manner from this rental transaction, including claims of, or liabilities to third parties.

6. CUSTOMISED GOWN:

6.1 All intellectual property rights of customised gown design (regardless of for rent or sale) shall belong to the Company and the

Company reserves the rights to replicate any gown produced under the Company. Renter shall inform the Company of any

request for the gown design to be made exclusive. The Company reserves the rights to determine if request is acceptable to the

Company and also the rights to include an additional exclusivity fee of $300 above the quoted customised rate.

6.2 The Company guarantees that all customised gown (regardless of for rent or sale) will not be made available for try out by

other clients until after the use of the gown by the Renter made for it's intended purpose. However, the Company reserves the

rights to show the customised gown to any potential clients seeking similar designs for viewing purpose as an indication of the

workmanship and capabilities of the Company.

6.3 All customised gown payment made are non-refundable and also non-transferable to any other items sold by the Company

such as off-the-rack gown rental.

6.4 Renter is required to confirm the wedding heels height upon placement of order as the length of gown is often fixed and

cannot be altered once construction of the gown has commenced.

6.5 The Company reserves the right to determine if any request for change of gown design (during the gown production process)

is feasible to be carried out as the change of gown design may require reconstruction and additional manhours. The Company

shall reserve the right to reject any request for change of gown design and the right to impose additional charges to cover the

reconstruction or additional manhours required to undertake the change in gown design.

7. ADD-ON PACKAGES:

7.1 Add-on packages including Makeup, Photography and Videography Packages etc. provided through the Company’s preferred

vendors. Renter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Company harmless from all losses, liabilities, damages, injuries, claims,

demands, costs, and expenses incurred in any manner from any Add-on Packages including claims of, or liabilities to third parties.
